The Foundation

Inspired by Ally, an educator who believed in every child until they believed in themselves, the Foundation funds tutoring scholarships, activity scholarships, teacher grants, and confidence-building programs, working alongside local schools, organizations, and teachers. The result: children who believe in themselves.

Why the Foundation exists

Ally saved her greatest patience for the students who needed it most. She made time for them, tutored them, stayed after hours, guided parents through what each child needed to succeed, and sometimes was simply a caring friend to talk to. Her belief in every child helped them believe in themselves.

What we do

The Ally Rahmani Legacy Foundation, Inc. was founded to carry that belief forward by creating and funding initiatives that support children’s educational and social development through programs that inspire them and build their confidence and self-esteem. The Foundation aims to provide one-on-one tutoring scholarships, extracurricular activity scholarships, teacher grants, and funding for other programs and projects that support children in need. Any programs the Foundation creates will be developed in partnership with local schools, teachers, and organizations, and their scope will depend on the funds raised.

Our commitment

Donations will be used only to support the Foundation’s mission described above, never for any other purpose. The Foundation is overseen by a board of directors who approve how its funds are used, and it is committed to full transparency, including sharing the total funds raised, how those funds are spent, and the programs, projects, and organizations it supports, here on this site or on a future Foundation website. Every gift helps a child find the confidence Ally gave to so many.
